Four Corners
Four Corners Adventure
We made it to Four Corners! As we were driving there, our phones kept pinging—Welcome to Arizona. Welcome to New Mexico. Welcome to Arizona. It was wild how quickly it shifted. But truly, it’s amazing to be in four places at once. We stood on that famous marker with our feet in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado—yes, we got both the solo feet shot and a picture of the two of us together in all four states.
The vendor area was just as fascinating. The booths were organized by state, each one tucked inside cement shelters divided into little rooms—each with its own door, but no electricity. That meant no fans, no cooling—just vendors sitting out there in the heat of the desert. Still, every single person we met was warm and welcoming. Each booth represented a different tribe, and they were so open about their traditions and art. One woman told us how they’d string black seeds into necklaces and place them around a baby’s neck to keep bad dreams away—kind of like dream catchers in other traditions.
And yes, you really can shop in four different states within 30 minutes. It’s wild. It’s one of those strange, beautiful moments where life just feels a little bit more magical.
