"We got our kicks on Route 66 in Joliet! Hung out with the Blues Brothers, then made some unexpected new friends. We kept running into the same sweet couple at every photo stop — not sure who was following who! 😂 After enough laughs and snapshots, we finally had to take a selfie together. Road trip magic!"

After bumping into the same couple at photo spot after photo spot, we finally landed at the old two-cell jail in Joliet. Luckily, we found a  Get Out of Jail Freeee  card just in time! 😄 Thanks for the laughs and great company — even if you  are  from Michigan! Until we meet again, road trip friends!"

Slug Bug Rebels at the Ranch We made a rebellious little detour at the  Slug Bug Ranch —a place where you're  actually encouraged  to spray paint on the cars without getting in trouble. Naturally, we took full advantage of the opportunity to unleash our inner outlaws and tagged a couple of slug bugs with our roaming relics flair. Shockingly, Janet didn’t even hit me for not calling “slug bug” first—clearly, we were off our game. Don’t worry, we made up for it later.  Slug bug! While we were mid-spray, we ran into the sweetest little family with an even sweeter little girl. And yes, you guessed it—we had to  corrupt  her. In the best way possible, of course. We handed her a can of spray paint and officially inducted her into the  tiny rebel hall of fame . It was only right!
