President Scavenger hunt in Rapid City. SD
We had such a fun morning in Rapid City! City of Presidents — the life-sized bronze statues of every U.S. president spread throughout downtown are such a unique way to explore history. And yes, it stretches about 10 blocks, mostly along Main Street and St. Joseph Street.
The Presidential Scavenger Hunt is a favorite for families and visitors. Finding those special little clues on the statues (like peanuts for Jimmy Carter, a violin for Thomas Jefferson, etc.) makes the walk interactive and educational. And how clever of them to "hide" Trump in the visitor center!
That free water bottle with the sticker is a fun souvenir, especially after completing the hunt. And having photos of all the statues? A full presidential portrait gallery, right from the sidewalk!
