Heading to Cliens Corner
Westbound on Route 66 – Blue Hole to Clines Corner
Heading west on Route 66, we pulled over to snap a photo of the Blue Hole. Honestly? It was exactly what it sounds like—a pond. A blue hole in the ground. Still, one more spot checked off the list!
As we rolled through Santa Rosa, we spotted several colorful mural that really brought the town to life. We also found the old bridge, a great piece of roadside history.
And leave it to Janet—she managed to find a piece of petrified woodfrom the forest. Not the whole forest, just a piece. But still, pretty cool.
We stopped at Clien’s Corner, grabbed a photo of the sign and their cute little water tower. We ran into a pair of familiar faces—smiled should we say machines: the Alien Fortune Teller and good ol’ Zoltar.
We didn’t need to pay for a reading, though—we already know We’re blessed. Traveling Route 66 is all the magic we need.
