Midway on Rt 66

Midpoint Mischief on Route 66

You know that little voice in your head that sounds suspiciously like your mother? The one that says, “Didn’t anybody tell you not to play in the street?” Yeah… we heard it loud and clear. But this time, we ignored it—because we were supposed to be in the street.

We made it to the Midpoint of Route 66! Halfway from Chicago to Santa Monica, and naturally, we had to stop, celebrate, and play in the middle of the road like a couple of rebels. (No worries, Mom—it was safe. Mostly.)

While we were out there making memories and probably confusing a few passing cars, we met two awesome guys from Germany. They flew all the way to the U.S. just to drive Route 66—but only the fun part. They started in California and hit all the good stops: Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, party towns and quirky roadside attractions galore.

They were kind enough to take our picture (thanks, guys!) and add one more international connection to our growing list of Route 66 friends.

Halfway there and still kickin’! Janet took a Pie to the Face!

Thanks for following along with the adventure!

Now to the Second half of our Adventure!
